Summary
The laws of the road work great until someone decides rules are from chumps! How long can you survive on the wrong side of the road? Watch the full demo here.
- Last as long as possible driving into oncoming traffic and do so in style, showing off with cool drifts, awesome jumps, and smoking hot doughnuts. 🍩
- The further you drive, the bigger the target you’ll have on your back. The police (and other enemies?) will use more aggressive tactics to take you down. 🚔
- Unlock new cars and other cosmetics by surviving longer and performing greater stunts. 🚘
- Compete against your friends to set high scores and place on the leaderboard as the world’s most wanted. 🏆

Hooks
- Gameplay: Although it’s easy to learn to move side-to-side, the cars drifting can cause problems for new players. Alternatively, a more experienced player can use this feature to perform cool tricks and stunts, and reach places a safer driver could never get to.
- Stunts: Inspired by action films such as the Fast and Furious series, we’re going to be creating outlandish sequences which, if perfected, will earn players lots of points. Our aim is to keep upping the bar for insanity and ridiculousness.
- Visuals: The vector art style is clean and inviting to a new player. This clean art style also means that there’s lots of space to fill with enemies and effects when the heat on the player gets high.

Monetisation
- £5.99 MSRP to remove ads, cosmetics will be thrown in as a bundle to sweeten the deal for the player.
- Starting at £0.49 MSRP for extra cosmetics from car models and skins to VFX (think Rocket League for the types of cosmetics) with bundles allowing players to get more for less.
- Depending on the game’s initial success, we’ll look to do seasonal content with cosmetics that can be earned or purchased to increase player retention and breathe new life into the game over the years to come.

Target Market
We’ll be targeting the casual mobile market. These players are looking for a quick game to fill the down time they have on their commutes to and from work or school, during break times in the day, or during ad breaks when watching TV. A first time player may last 30 seconds during their first few tries as they slowly build up their skills. This puts the game well within the length of a normal TV ad break.
Similar games include Subway Surfers, Jetpack Joyride, and Temple Run.

Scope
- Dozens of cars, skins, and other cosmetics.
- 20 road variations.
- 8 power-ups – boost, shield, shrink, stop time, and more TBD.
- 5 stunt sequences – bridge jump, getaway sequences by lorry, boat, train, plane, and more TBD.
- At least 2 enemy types:
- Police – road blockades, spike traps, and other non-lethal methods.
- Mafia – car chase shootouts, rocket launchers, and other lethal methods.
- More possible enemies are being fleshed out and considered.
- XP progression system to unlock cosmetics.
- Mission system to earn more XP.
- Post-launch (depending on initial success):
- Seasonal cosmetics and new content TBD.

Schedule
The base gameplay and systems for stunt sequences and power ups are mostly complete. The majority of the planned content will be made using or building off of these systems. The only system not started is the progression system for the player to earn cosmetics. Apart from that, we’ve got plenty of fine-tuning and also art to be created for environments, enemies, and cosmetics.
- QA starts end of Q2 2024
- Launch on App Store and Play Store in Q3 of 2024
Disclaimer: these are estimates and depend upon start of funding for full-time work on this project to commence.
